Messages of Condolence

  1. Steve & Charlene Stokes says:

I (Steve) worked with John at Armstrong for many years before I got laid off in 1983. Then about 10 years ago my wife (Charlene) started at Manheim Auto Auction & met John. He would always look up Charlene for a hug & always ask how I was doing. Then he retired from the Auction & I told Charlene we need to visit John but that never happened, so sorry he went so soon.

    Sincerely,
    Steve & Charlene Stokes

  2. Terry Eby says:

John and I worked together at Manheim for many years and it was such a pleasure because John was always pleasant and helpful. He loved to tell me about his golf games with Robin and how much he enjoyed it.
He will be missed by all his coworkers.
    Terry Eby

  3. Virginia Young says:

    To Mim and Family,
I will miss John’s smiling face and joking around every Sunday in the narthex at church. He would often take my cold hands, tell me how cold they were, and then warm them up in his warm hands. John was a terrific guy.

  4. JIM LOOSE says:

    Mim & Family,
When Joanne and I moved to Luther Acres in 2005, you and John were the second residents to welcome us to our new home. Joanne & I both knew you from your nursing career, but that was the first time we met John and we both were impressed with his friendliness and gentle demeanor. Over the years John became a good friend – always had a kind word and kept me up to date on what was happening at the Auto Action.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time, John will be missed by many.
